How We Rate
This page explains how the information on sevenspins.co.uk is gathered and checked. Every page follows the same method, so you can see where a figure comes from and what we do not do.
Where the information comes from
We work from primary sources first. These are the operator's own website, the bonus terms, the general terms and conditions, the payment pages and the licence register.
We do not treat forum posts or affiliate claims as facts about the casino. Player opinions are useful, but they are kept apart from the terms and figures published by the operator. You can see how we handle them on the reviews page.
What we check and why it matters
Each area below affects what a player in Great Britain actually experiences. The examples come from the fact card we hold for Seven Casino and are there only to show what a check looks like. This page is not a review.
- Licence and ownership: who operates the site, which licence it holds and its number. Seven Casino lists Non Videri B.V. and licence 8048/JAZ under the International Gaming License Framework. We check that this matches the licence register and whether the site accepts players from the United Kingdom.
- Bonus value and wagering: the headline figure matters less than the wagering requirement, minimum deposit, maximum bet and how the offer is split over several deposits.
- Deposit and withdrawal methods: which methods are offered, whether they work in GBP, and whether crypto is available.
- Limits and payout times: minimum and maximum amounts per method, monthly caps and stated processing times. Limits and times often differ by method, so we record them one by one.
- Game selection and providers: the size of the lobby, the named studios, live casino providers and whether a sportsbook exists.
- Customer support: which channels exist, whether they run around the clock and how contact details are published.
- Responsible gambling tools: deposit limits, session timers, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion.
Account and verification rules
We also note what a player must provide to withdraw. This usually means photo ID, proof of address and proof of the payment method. Knowing this in advance avoids delays at the cashout stage.
We record when a feature is absent as well. For example, a site may have a mobile-optimised browser version but no dedicated app, and we say so plainly on the app page.
When sources disagree
Operators sometimes publish different figures in different places, such as a bonus banner that does not match the bonus terms. In that case we give priority to the full terms and conditions over promotional text.
If the conflict cannot be resolved, we show the range or both figures and say that they differ. We do not pick the more attractive number. Where a detail cannot be confirmed from a published source, we leave it out or mark it as unconfirmed.
Payout times are treated as the operator's stated times, not a guarantee. Real times can vary with verification and the payment provider. The withdrawal page shows the stated figures.
How often pages are re-checked
Pages are re-checked against the sources above on a regular basis, and again when we notice a change in terms, limits or licence details. Bonus and payment pages change most often, so they get the most attention.
If you see something that no longer matches the operator's current terms, tell us. We will compare it with the source and correct the page if needed.
What we do not do
- We do not accept payment to change, soften or hide a fact.
- We do not present a bonus as free money or as a way to make a profit.
- We do not claim tests, interviews or experience that we cannot show.
- We do not speak for the operator. For account issues, use the contact routes on the support page.
Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over and carries a risk of loss. If it stops being fun, use the limits and self-exclusion tools or contact a support service such as GamCare.
